We have a tradition. It's a Father's Day tradition. And, if I'm honest, it was born out of procrastination.
When I was pregnant with Lexi, I wanted to get Jeremy a father's day gift that was sweet and meaningful but I was
out of time. The thought crossed my mind to get a photo of Justus and me and my baby bump. I knew of a portrait place that I could get portraits into my hands in one hour, so that's what we did. Sadly, the belly didn't make the picture, but he loved the shot of us so much that we've kept up the tradtion. And now, the guy is getting quite a collection in his office!

It's fun to see how Justus and Lexi have grown!
We're planning to keep it going... I guess he's not
quite out of space on his table. This year, I've even snagged up a LivingSocial deal for it. I guess it's about time to find some white shirts, too.

That's a really cute idea! I just had a baby two weeks ago, and now I have two kids who have the same age difference as your two, as my daughter is six.
ReplyDeleteI think it is neat that you have them all displayed together so you can see how the kids have grown. :)
