Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Our neighborhood Chick-Fil-A hosted a daddy-daughter date night. Jeremy asked Lexi to join him for the event. She was on top of the world, planning her outfit and getting excited about a little "daddy-time". He's pretty much her favorite person on the planet!  And a daddy who simply adores his daughter is one of the sweetest things there is.

Chick-Fil-A was transformed into a fancy restaurant with a familiar menu. They fancified the dining room with black tablecloths and chair covers. I got a few text message photo updates from the pair as they enjoyed their dinner together.

Aren't they too cute?

During dinner, Chick-Fil-A provided a cute little nugget box filled with daddy-daughter questions. Hearing Lexi recalling Jeremy's answers even before we took a peek inside the box at the original questions was probably the most adorable jeopardy game I've ever played!

"A dog named Sparky!" ~What was your first pet and what was its name?~
Funny thing is, his first dog's name was Freckles.

They sent Lexi home with a small bunch of red carnations, which she has in a vase in her room. I know she was feeling pretty special after such a wonderful evening with her daddy!
