It's the little things. Isn't it?
In this case, it's a teeny tiny minature plastic volcano.
Justus picked it up at Hobby Lobby on New Years Day and COULD.NOT.WAIT. to try it out. A little baking soda and lemon juice (tangent alert!: not vinegar like normal people, you see, Jeremy had used up all the various types vinegar we had cleaning my coffee pot that had started to set world records for brew length! But don't feel sorry for me. He got me one of {these} for Christmas.) later, and we had the cutest little erupting volcano you ever did see!
I simply adore the looks of delight on their faces. Precious moments... without a doubt!
Is it bad that this post makes me really want a {chocolate cake topped with a sparkler} or a frozen screwdriver?
You're such a fun mom! Your kiddos are so blessed. My brother got that same coffee maker for Christmas and LOVES it!
ReplyDeleteYea, their coffee maker is awesome! We'd love a playdate! :-)
ReplyDeleteMary Beth, it's awesome! But your dad was telling us about their coffee maker last night. That thing sounds incredible. I may need to find a way to get myself invited over for an epic cup of coffee. :) By the way, I still have a Stomping Grounds Groupon left. Playdate?
