Waffles with the Williams

I'm a bit behind in sharing this one, but we had a waffle party for our First Family (our small group).  We sent out invitations for our friends to come to the Williams House of Waffles.
The party fell on a Saturday in February right after a super cold week where most of the country was blanketed in snow.  That threw off some people's plans for the weekend, but didn't stop us from indulging in some breakfast yummies.

A waffle party was the perfect excuse legitimate reason to buy a fancy Belgian waffle maker.  Litttle did I know they had models that cook not one, but TWO!, waffles at a time.  Thanks to the wonders of Amazon Prime, such a handy device was on my doorstep in less than two days.
Jeremy promptly purchased three varieties of waffle mix at the grocery store to "test it out", which may or may not have been a cover to have breakfast for dinner.  I asked the cooks in my {RENEW} class at church what they would recommend for waffles and they suggested Carbon's Golden Malted Pancake and Waffle Flour.  Great pick, ladies!  Lots of compliments all around.

(If you're looking for it, Williams Sonoma has it. Amazon has it in three packs for a decent price. Let's just say, six cans were delivered on my doorstep for free in less than two days.)

We made waffles with all types of toppings.  Delish!
Lexi & Bryce sipping on juice
Jolie picked chocolate chips.  Excellent choice, Cutie!
After breakfast, we went outside and enjoyed some much needed sunshine and warmer weather on the trampoline.

Jackson had a blast!

We were all cracking up at the static in Jolie's hair from the trampoline.

Our waffle party was so much fun.  Hopefully, this will be the first of many!

  1. A waffle maker that makes two waffles at a time?? That sounds like a great investment! I might need one of those...
